I am good at poker.

My supervisor had recently gone to a tea party with his wife and could not stop talking about it.  Especially the food.  So I helped him plan one for some people at work even though only a few of us showed up.

I am still new to the idea of drinking tea so while I had one cup, everyone else had at least three each, if not more.  

And then they taught me how to play a classy game of poker for a couple of hours.  Turns out I am pretty good at poker and almost won.  Unfortunately, I can see how people become addicted to it.

It was a fun way to spend the afternoon with coworkers outside of our work environment.

Pirate Island

A couple of months ago I went to Pirate Island with Katie, Ransom, and Conrad. We ate pizza that tasted funny, played some arcade games, and got prizes. There was a little playground that Conrad had fun on and Ransom found a cool game where he got to fly an airplane. Katie and I did a bunch of stupid, cheap games that were surprisingly fun. It was a very fun night to be with them! 

Sims

After more than three months of me not blogging, I'm going to blog about Sims! It's a really fun computer game where you can make people, build houses, and play with them. The game is super addicting, and the time goes by so fast. I enjoy building the houses best because there are so many different things you can do and I like to see how each house will turn out. I have only played Sims 2 and it is really good. But I think that Sims 3 looks like so much fun.
